چکیده
Introduction/Objective. The objective was to determine the degree of conversion (DC), cross-link density, percentage leachable monomers, flexural strength (FS), and hardness (HV) nanohybrid, nanofilled bulk-fill, giomer, fiber-reinforced, low-shrinkage composites. Methods. Standardized specimens (n = 5/group) Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill, Filtek Beautifil, EverX posterior, Kalore, Z250 (microhybrid control), (nanohybrid control) were subjected micro-Raman spectroscopy, three-point bending, HV. Cross-linking density monomers ascertained based on ratio HV DC before after immersion in absolute ethanol. Results. range 50.4?70.5%, highest for lowest Kalore. %DC change Beautifil (10.3%) (1.4%) (1.28%). FS ranged between 78.9 MPa (TEC) 126.7 (Filtek Bulk). 58.6 (Kalore) 113.9 (Z250) significantly decreased post-immersion (19?55%). HV48h inversely correlated HV% loss (r -0.761), whilst positively with 0.893). Conclusion. Bulk, EverX, showed DC. mechanical properties observed greatest shown by Bulk. There up 10% monomers. correlated.

This report deals with the experimental investigation of using large deformable FRP, ± 45° oriented fibers, in concrete-filled fiber tubes (CFFT) under axial cyclic compressive loading. In addition, this report presents finite element modeling (FE) of CFFTs with large rupture strain FRP (LRS-FRP). The LRS-FRP is made with polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber...
متن کاملPhysico-mechanical characteristics of commercially available bulk-fill composites.
OBJECTIVES Bulk-fill composites have emerged, arguably, as a new "class" of resin-based composites, which are claimed to enable restoration in thick layers, up to 4mm. The objective of this work was to compare, under optimal curing conditions, the physico-mechanical properties of most currently available bulk-fill composites to those of two conventional composite materials chosen as references,...
متن کاملComparison of mechanical properties of a new fiber reinforced composite and bulk filling composites
OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to evaluate the mechanical and physical properties of a newly developed fiber reinforced dental composite. MATERIALS AND METHODS Fiber reinforced composite EverX Posterior (EXP, GC EUROPE), and other commercially available bulk fill composites, including Filtek Bulk Fill (FB, 3M ESPE), SonicFill (SF, Kerr Corp.), SureFil (SDR, Dentsply), Venus Bulk Fill (V...

Polymer matrix composites used in different industrial applications due to their enhanced mechanical properties and lightweight. However, these materials are subjected to friction and wear situations in some industrial and automobile applications. Therefore, there is a need to investigate the wear properties of polymer matrix composite materials. This article emphasizes the dry abrasive wear be...
متن کاملStructural and mechanical properties of a giomer-based bulk fill restorative in different curing conditions
The main goal of this study was to compare the polymerization degree of bulk-fill giomer resin cured with three different light-curing units (LCUs): a polywave third-generation (Valo); a monowave (DemiUltra: DU); and a second-generation LED (Optima 10: Opt) LCUs by using structural and mechanical properties. Giomer samples of 2 and 4 mm cured with three LCUs were employed in vitro analysis. The...
